ORIFICE FLANGE

Orifice plate flange is used with orifice meter for for measuring the flow rate of either liquids or gases in the respective pipeline. Pressure pairs “tapings”, mostly on 2 sides, directly opposite each other, are machined into the orifice flange. This makes unconnected orifice carriers or tapings in the pipe wall unnecessary.

It come with either raise face or RTJ facing, which go through rigorous purpose. And it is similar to weld neck flange and slip on flange with extra machining done on it.

Weldneck orifice flanges is use in low maintenance flow measurement. This measurement device is economical choice for an orifice fitting. It has simple process to remove and conduct plate inspection by spreading the flange with single equipment.

What is the purpose of jack screw flange?

These are used to measure flow rate of product through the piping system. It is easy to recognize because it has hole drill through flange face which is perpendicular to pipe. It also has additional bolt set which is called as jack screws.
