LAP JOINT FLANGE

It is a two element assembly, with a stub end that has a lap-joint ring flange placed over it. It is commonly produced and stocked in several different materials. It is used behind and in conjunction with a Stub End. It floats on the pipe which allows for easy bolting. It is used predominately with mixed materials, on expansion joints and lined piping systems.
